Inside
our Project

We center BIPOC teachers and leaders, offering donation-based classes where all are welcome.

If you have access—come. Your presence and donations make it possible for us to bring healing movement to immigrant communities who can’t reach traditional studios.

Give what you can. Give more if you’re able. Even if you can’t join a class, your gift makes space for someone else to heal.

Our Work

South Portland Studio Classes

We hold classes at our studio in South Portland four days a week. Mats and props are provided for free, though you’re welcome to bring your own.

Classes are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis—give more if you’re able.

Yoga & Mindfulness Outreach

We collaborate with community organizations, schools, and workplaces to offer 45–60 minute practices right where people are already gathering and receiving support.

Book us to bring yoga to your community.

Lets Bring our Practice to you

Outdoor Wellness

We take our practice beyond the studio and into the beauty of Maine’s natural spaces. Outdoor Wellness includes yoga in the park, beach meditations, forest walks, mindful hiking, and seasonal gatherings that connect movement with the rhythms of nature.

Living Funeral Ceremony: A Reflective Pause for the Living

    10/18 · 4:00–6:30 PM

A two-hour guided ceremony inviting participants to reflect on mortality as a pathway to deeper mindfulness, gratitude, and presence. Through writing, meditation, and silence, this experience offers space to honor impermanence and rediscover life’s beauty.

Inspired by “living funeral” practices in South Korea and guided by death doula traditions, the ceremony is life-affirming and deeply transformative. It invites gentle reflection, emotional release, and a renewed sense of peace and purpose.

    Mothers’ Storytelling Circles

    10/ 25 4:00–6:00 PM

The Storytelling Circle is a 2-hour in-person gathering for women to explore their stories through both spoken word and writing. Each circle offers guided prompts, quiet time to write, and an optional sharing round where participants can present their words and be witnessed with care.

We focus on the experiences that shape identity — resilience, migration, survival, motherhood, and belonging — while also honoring the intersections of joy, culture, and healing.
