Our non-profit project is rooted in Afro Yoga practices and led by our BIPOC community. It creates a space that intentionally centers BIPOC teachers as leaders. This approach addresses systemic inequities where leadership and influence have historically been disproportionately distributed.
We are dedicated to serving and supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives after trauma. We create healing, growth, and connection spaces through culturally sensitive mindfulness practices and trauma-informed nature programs.
We are excited to share this space of learning and connection.
Our studio is at 1129 Broadway South Portland yoga studio.
The studio has enough mats and props for FREE, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Our in-studio classes are by donation/pay what you can.
All BODIES with positive vibes are invited to our Studio.
We collaborate with community organizations, corporate groups, and schools to offer Yoga and Mindfulness sessions
Classes are 45 to 60 minutes long and can be held either at a partner facility where clients are already accessing other services or at our studio in South Portland.
Book a class and make a difference! Half the proceeds will support our efforts to bring yoga programs to marginalized and vulnerable populations in our community.
Our project combines outdoor yoga with activities like hiking, swimming, forest bathing, kayaking, and camping to create a holistic experience promoting physical health, mental well-being, and a deeper connection with nature.
Maintaining a strong sense of community is very important to us. We advocate for supporting each other to build stronger communities, helping us transform and empower our vision of a supportive and engaged society. Our mindfulness project offers workshops designed to create safe and inclusive communities.
