Welcome to Maine Afro Yoga Project

There Many ways to get involved

We're dedicated to fostering healing, resilience, and community through trauma-informed, culturally relevant yoga and mindfulness practices. Our project is offered entirely free of charge to ensure that everyone, regardless of financial situation, can access the support they need. Led by people of color and driven by immigrant voices, we are committed to creating a space where all feel valued, included, and empowered.

Attend Our Classes and Events

Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, our in-studio, outdoor, and outreach classes offer something for everyone. Visit our Class Schedule to sign up for upcoming sessions and special events like sound baths, community hikes, and beach yoga. Our sessions are available in multiple languages and open to all on a free or donation basis.
